Environmental site context
EPA SEMS, RCRAInfo, ACRES, Cleanups in My Community, EnviroFacts, and EnviroAtlas can identify regulated or cleanup sites and environmental layers. These are not clean nationwide soil-test databases. Any future OpenSoil integration will use a separate contamination/site-context model and will not mix program status with soil measurements.
Interfaces that are not new databases
Web Soil Survey and SoilWeb primarily expose USDA-NCSS survey data. NASIS is the internal authoring system. Soil Data Mart is the published database and SDA is its programmatic interface. Catalog and adapter design must avoid counting these layers as independent scientific evidence.
